Hello there, I’m Carlos Rivera, owner and founder of Sudden Joy Visuals, LLC and Sudden Joy Creative, born from a love for photography and a career in marketing. What started as a passion quickly grew into a full-time business, where I get to combine creativity with strategic thinking to help businesses reach their goals.

This ambition is more than just the creative work itself—it's about making real connections with my clients and understanding their vision. It’s about more than providing a service; it’s about building relationships based on trust, clear communication, and empathy. I believe in customizing every solution to fit the unique needs of each business.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working as an Art Director, where I’ve overseen branding consistency, guided concept development, and managed other designers to ensure projects stay true to the client’s vision. These experiences have helped me grow as a leader and refine my approach to creative problem-solving. Whether it’s crafting a marketing strategy or ensuring a brand’s visual identity stands out, my goal is always to deliver something our clients are very happy with and exceptional.

My journey has been shaped by working alongside amazing leaders, learning from their example, and embracing the lessons of teamwork and giving back to the community. My Christian faith has been a guiding light, and the unwavering support of my family, friends, and colleagues has played a huge role in my success. I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with great companies like TFNB Your Bank for Life, Charity Champions, Baylor, WACOAN, and Bird Kultgen Ford, among others.

Together with my wife Karla, who is also my business partner, we are growing a company that thrives on relationships with our clients. While Sudden Joy Creative focuses on delivering creative marketing solutions, we also own Sudden Joy Visuals, which specializes in photography. Through both ventures, we take pride in delivering meaningful results that truly matter to our clients. Whether it's strategic marketing or capturing moments through a lens, I believe that when our clients succeed, we succeed.
